How Does It Work?

Ions are continually being made in water, which has an almost perfect balance of positive and negative ions. Because our bodies are close to 70% water, we respond very favorably to healing through a water medium. Points on the feet (through the principle of polarity, also true of the hands) give the healing water an ability to affect every cell and organ in the body.

Through the many stresses of modern life, including poor diet, we create, accumulate and store acidic toxins in the body. These create positively charged ions, also called free radicals

The water in the ionic foot bath is potentized with sea salt. A simple mechanical unit is placed in the bath which alternates very low frequency positive and negative electrical current through the potentized water. Most people feel a pleasant tingling as the healing ion exchange occurs, i.e. as the positively charged free radical ions are exchanged for healing and regenerative negative ions.

When the feet are immersed in the bath, the negative ions from the potentized water enter the body and neutralize acidic wastes in every cell of the body. These toxic, positively charged wastes are released into the water. Amazingly, the ionic technique of cleansings through the feet, literally purges every body cell and organ of toxins. The ionic charge of the body's vital inner waters are now more perfectly in balance, with the toxic positive ions replaced by the appropriate balance of healing, alkalizing negative ions.
